I am 24 years in the making...and thank goodness, God isn't done with me yet! I grew up in a small town in the foothills of North Carolina. After High School I went to college for a year to get my degree in Criminal Justice/Latent Evidence. However as the end of 2nd semester approached, I found that I wasn't happy with where I was. So I packed up and moved back home with my parents. About 6 months later, on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb 4, 2007) my life changed forever, I met my husband, Matthew. We met on Myspace (yes, go ahead & laugh) where we exchanged messages for about a week (we talked on the phone too)...a week later we met in person...two weeks later I was engaged. Fast, yes indeed it was. Lots of people thought I had lost my mind. On June 30, 2007 we were married at the church I grew up in. (I wouldn't recommend anyone trying to plan a wedding in that short a time). In December, after moving into our first apartment, I found out I was pregnant. My pregnancy was nothing short of complicated. (that's for another blog) On July 23, 2008 I gave birth to my son, Mason. So, two years later I found myself a stay at home mommy, who wanted to further my education. My choice for my major wasn't a hard one. I've always wanted to be a teacher and I love young children, so Early Childhood Education was my choice. SO here we are, in January of 2011. I'm in my second semester at school & we just moved into our first home (woohoo, it's nice to own something finally).
My life is crazy, hectic, & most importantly WONDERFUL.
GOD BLESS
